22–18 °C, sea 22 °C. A bit cool at night (14 °C). Least crowded. Excellent for quiet seekers. Bring a jacket for the evenings.
February
23–19 °C, sea 22 °C. Slightly better than January. Still low season, good prices.
March
25–21 °C, sea 23 °C. Lovely weather. Start of the tourist season. The Ras Mohammed trip is ideal this month.
April ⭐
27–23 °C, sea 24 °C. Spring peak. Perfect weather for snorkelling and desert. Expect crowded hotels. Book early with Lotus Sharm.
May
32–28 °C, sea 25 °C. A bit hot midday, but evenings excellent. Calm seas. Tiran Island ideal.
June
35–30 °C, sea 27 °C. High heat. Stick to water activities or hotels during the day. Evening safari excellent.

40–32 °C, sea 28 °C. Hottest months. Not ideal for general tourism but great for divers (warm water, excellent visibility). Avoid the Mount Sinai climb in these months.

36–30 °C, sea 28 °C. Still hot but easing. Heat begins to break.

30–26 °C, sea 27 °C. Best month overall. Perfect weather, warm sea, moderate crowds. All activities available. This is what we recommend at Lotus Sharm.
November ⭐
27–22 °C, sea 25 °C. Another wonderful month. Perfect for families and relaxation.
December
23–19 °C, sea 23 °C. A bit cooler but still enjoyable. Christmas and New Year crowds.
When are the best prices?
- Low season (Jan, Feb, June): up to 30% discounts.
- Shoulder season (March, November, early December): good prices.
- Peak (April, October, late December): highest prices but perfect weather.

Is the sea warm year-round?
Practically, yes. Even in January the sea is 22 °C — warmer than most European coasts in summer! For snorkelling, discover scuba diving is possible all year in Sharm El Sheikh.
What to wear by month
- November–February: T-shirt + light sweater, jacket for evenings, trousers.
- March–April and October–November: summer clothes + light jacket for evenings.

Rainfall

Wind
